Good Morning,

World Cup Final day! I am just going to enjoy the football without any bias for either side, I am a French fan but also a huge Messi lover. I must say, I’d love to see Messi lift the trophy! Another thing he will have that Ronaldo won’t… alongside - modesty, class, football intelligence, and selflessness… ;-)

Very strong week for myself and paid subscribers. A few lucrative option trades and despite the overall market direction our equities performed well. Some examples… RARE now +30%, LBRDK-TMUS pair which was opened at -62 was closed out at -52.55 and -49.8, amazingly before the pair widened dramatically. META is now +32% from where I went overweight. HPQ bear put spread closed out flat. I also opened a 17Mar’23 MRNA 150/130 bear put spread at 3.

My bund puts are working wonders after I covered the short leg of the bear put spread at the highs. The ZN puts given in a Substack a couple of weeks ago are marked at 0, however, I bought some 113.50 for two weeks out as well as a 113.5/112 2x3 put spread for the first week of Jan.

On the topic of the ZN put given in the post a couple of weeks ago, the AAPL 1x2 which was 2.02 is now 5.22 and the XLE put spread which was 1.68 is now 3.25. Attached below is the post I gave these.

IBM short from 150 which was given on my main Twitter is now at 139, looking for 135, perhaps 128.

ACWI short which is a 10% weighting which I opened at 89.92 this week (managed to get RTH high of the week) will be held as a hedge towards/below 80.

The Week Ahead
Hi all, I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving and is enjoying their weekend. This week was pretty quiet for obvious reasons - Thanksgiving and the World Cup. Paid subscribers we didn’t do much this week, covered the short leg of a bund bear put spread, covered the copper short for 9% and a few FX trades. I think there will be a lot to do in the coming week…

This was given in last week’s post and worked perfectly.

Spot GBP/MXN short was entered @ 24.5 and is now @ 24. For the week - GBP/USD -1%, USD/NOK -1%, USD/JPY +0.07%. I also entered a short EUR/NOK which was given on my main Twitter.

This will be my last Week Ahead for the year as I will be putting out my The Year Ahead post before New Year. As it is Christmas, I will be allowing free trials on the Substack for the next 24 hours.

For free subscribers who won’t see the main part of this post, a very Merry Christmas to you all. May you enjoy the time with your loved ones.
