Your world is as big as you make it. - Georgia Douglas Johnson

Good Morning from a rainy UK. Quite a busy weekend hence TWA is coming on a Monday. It’s actually a bank holiday over here today, so taking a day off. An ok week last week… Short term trading was difficult whilst the largest weightings of my book (GOOGL 0.00%↑ and META 0.00%↑) performed well. Pretty muted response post-NFP on the shortened futures session, I think participants were expecting larger moves considering the illiquid trading conditions.

Markets sit in a difficult area pre CPI with stocks sitting right at the top of the range. The inflation report will dictate whether the Fed is able to take a pause or not. Expect some chop before CPI as many will be waiting for that report.

Thank you for the support this year, the popularity of my Substack has surprised me a lot as people seem to love reading doom and gloom. Just to slow things down a little, I might be going invite only for a short-while.
