The Week Ahead
Good morning all,
I had a quiet session on Friday to close out what was an interesting yet stressful week. I ended up slightly green on the week. Intraday trades weren’t easy—Vol was rich but managed to produce a ten-bagger, and other than that, I found it quite difficult to do anything other than sit and wait.
With CPI around the corner, I find myself in the exact same place —sitting and waiting. Not out of panic, but I decided to de-gross last week and even got rid of all my GOOGL as my focus turned to another Mag7 stock to be overweight… (I still remain overweight META).
CPI is due on the 14th, and if it’s inline, it should lift this market higher. The market has already fallen a lot, and it would need an especially hot print to sell off post-data.
