The Week Ahead
Good Morning! I had written the Week Ahead, however, technical errors led to it being somehow deleted somehow… so here is a rewritten one!
Last week was great for paid subscribers, especially Friday. We have a long NQ position from ~11160, had some S&P bull puts, and were long some NQ 11600 0d calls from 3.50 which traded @ 75 on Friday. We also sold out of SIVB after buying it @ 199.5 on 12/06. Earlier in the week we added to GOOGL exposure. FWONK 0.00%↑ which is my 4th largest weighting closed +6% on Friday. Moving on… What I found interesting about Friday’s session was how vertical it was. I said several times that I didn’t think it was predominantly short-covering and indeed it was what I thought it was… at long last… desks were mentioning that there was long-only demand.
