Process
A bunch of you asked variations of the same thing: how do I know when we’re overbought vs. oversold, how did I hold through the recent dip, how did I stay long into the Iran headlines, and does max pain actually work. I’m going to treat these as one question, because they are effectively one question.
The honest answer is that reading the tape isn’t one signal, it’s a stack, and the art is knowing which layer of the stack matters in which regime. CTAs for the most part of last year were totally irrelevant, but this year became relevant again.
